Tortola photos

I was just running through some photos of our trip to Tortola and I am glad that I did. Before any observations or criticism--crrritic!--I realized hey, three nights in the British West Indies is just dang awesome! So, a few pictures first.

I could easily picture a pirate ship taking refuge in these waters. Is this a cross-over attempt?

Soper's Hole was one of the original settlements on Tortola. It first served as a pirate base in the 1600's. The bay was deep enough to anchor a fair sized ship, there was fresh water, food & lumber for repairs, and the high hills surrounding the cove hid the ships well. I'm not saying I know this from personal experience, but you hear things on the streets...
