Borderliner, there are a lot. My consistent favorite is Johhny Clegg, who is pretty main stream, but you could play his stuff. Particularly Cruel, Crazy, Beautiful World- a life lesson he wrote for his daughter. Fela and his son Kuti are good if you like the shuffling ju-ju sound (I like"Zombie"). The best highlife music is rare, but you can probably get some Daddy Lumba and Kojo Antwi from the music store. I also believe the Neville Brothers "Treacherous" album has some stuff that I would call world music.
